Ahead of the next political season in the State, Annang People under the ageis of Annang Peoples Assembly have begun consulting major political players in the area.
A statement from the National President of the group Obong Aniebiet Idiong indicates that top on the line up to be consulted will be the Pioneer Secretary of Annang Peoples Assembly and serving PDP chairman of Ikot Ekpene Local Government Hon Sunny Ibanga.
The group said that the Siba MD has been an important influence in the politics of Annang nation and as such he will be one of the first persons the group will reach out to.
Obong Idiong stressed that the Annang Peoples Assembly will also consult other illustrations Sons and Daughters of Annang Nation to get the direction of the politics ahead 2015.
The group also sued for unity among its members and stressed the need for the People of Annang nation to imbibe peace among them, it observed that the People of Annang nation cannot watch the unfolding political issues in the state silently. The Annang Peoples Assembly however promised to ensure that it reaches out to every Sons and daughters of the region as the preparation for the 2015 election hots up.
