AGGEN makes case for Udom governorship

Governance Network for Ukanafun/Oruk Anam Federal Constituency, Mr. Ikongifono Akpanuko which was duly seconded by the coordinator for Ikono/Ini Federal Constituency, Mr. Ekomobong P. Isen.

Speaking, Governor Godswill Akpabio commended the Leadership and members of Akwa Ibom Good Governance Network for being a part of the process of creating, especially in Akwa Ibom State, a solid and robust platform of involvement in the election of the Senator for Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District, the President of Nigeria and the Governor in the State which will help to engender rapid socio-economic development in our state.

Chief Akpabio who was represented by the Honourble Commissioner for Special Duties, Barr. Emmanuel Enoidem thanked AGGEN for recognizing and appreciating the good works of the Governor in the state which he said has taken Akwa Ibom to the mainstream of politics in Nigeria.


Chief Akpabio specifically commended the author of the book, Icon of True Leadership; Mr. Emmanuel M. Udoh for doing a good job adding that the book will help to show case the remarkable footprints of our dear Governor, Chief Godswill Akpabio in the uncommon transformation of the State.
He called on the youths of Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District to stand by the truth, justice and equity and support Governor Akpabio in producing a successor in the person of Mr. Udom Emmanuel from Eket Senatorial District to continue in the uncommon transformation agenda in the State.

Present at the occasion were Member representing Ikot Ekpene/Obot Akara State Constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Obong Nsikak Ekong, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Technical Matters, Engr. Etido Inyang, Chairman State Secondary Education Board, Dr. Maria Ikorok and Special Assistant to the Governor on Power, Dr. Victor Udoh among others.
