Thank you ...the INK Newspaper tells NUJ

Thank you ...the INK Newspaper tells NUJ
The Ink Newspaper is expressing unreserved gratitude to the state chapter of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, as well as the Federated Chapel for finding one of its staff worthy of partaking in the just-concluded one month training course on Internal Security and Low Intensity Conflict Operations held at the Armed Forces Command and Staff College in Jaji area of Kaduna State for the Military and Para-military Agencies.

The Training Course which featured topics like Information Management, Principles and Handling of Political Unrest/Riots and Urban unrest, Command and Control in crisis situations, Disaster Management, Cordon and Search/Road block operation, amongst others; was organized for the sole aim of keeping the beneficiaries on guard and equipped to fight the present insurgencies in the environment.

The Ink is therefore grateful to the state Chairman of the NUJ, Eld. Patrick Albert, members of the executive council and the Federated Chapel for deeming Mr. Emmanuel Akpan of its Sports Desk fit to qualify as its representative at the training, out of the two slots provided for journalists in the federation.

They also express believe that the Training undergone by Mr. Emannuel Akpan would not only benefit him personally, but would benefit the Union and Chapel extensively in times when solutions to security challenges will be needed; also expressing believe that his training on Information would help propagate the growth of journalism in the state and country at large.
