Group backs Gabriel Tobby’s re-election bid

A socio-cultural and political organization in Annang nation has backed the re-election bid of Rt. Hon. Gabriel Tobby, the member representing of Etim Ekpo/Ika in the State Constituency. The decision was developed during the group’s assessment tour to Etim Ekpo/Ika LGA recently. The group was impressed with the quality track record of distributions of both human and infrastructural development to the people of Etim Ekpo/Ika which include empowerment programmes, social amenities at strategic locations, renovation of some schools and markets, skill acquisition programme and award of scholarship to students. 


While interviewing some members of the constituency and political kinsmen in Etim Ekpo/Ika, Chief Elder Polinus Otu and Otuekong Uko Sunday Harry expressed satisfaction at Hon. Tobby’s performance. They further narrated that his developmental spirit began right from his time as a councillor and the legacy he left behind, they also hinted the assembly on the other projects being undertaken presently by Hon. Tobby presently and the ones he intends to implement after his re-election.

They described the performances of the hero is an eye-opener to the people of Etim Ekpo/Ika and the Annang people in general, and urged other politicians to imitate the same spirit of performance so as to influence the people they are representing. The National president of the group, Obong Aniebiet Idiong appealed to the Etim Ekpo/Ika branch of Annang Peoples Assembly and the generality of Etim Ekpo/Ika people to give their unalloyed support to the re-election of Hon. Tobby as a reward of excellent performance to the people.
