Governor Akpabio, the foundation you laid is rotten, it cannot work BY AKPANDEM

Governor Akpabio, the foundation you laid is rotten, it cannot work BY AKPANDEM

If the governor had thought that conducting town hall and other forms of deceitful meetings and negotiation will quench the flame of fire that is already on the way, he would have known better than to avoid the confusion, disorder and murmuring which has taken the centre stage of major political discuss of recent. The values of because of dashing Akwa Ibom hope to the ground also wrecked the State of some of her values due to his power of drunkenness, greed and self succession it threatened to extinguish the very existence of the State, following his political theory, procrastination and realised promises became his companions and became colossus among millions of Lilliputians Akwa Ibomites.

God so kind the constitution peg and limit the tenure of Governors in office, if not so he would have become a typical African ruler, who is not ready to disengage from power. Launching an ostentatious programmes means self-succession, it is clear he wants to rule in perpetuity that no one could prevent him, soon his devilish intention will be brought to an end, the dream killer will soon be disgraced out of office. Promised of handing over power to Ibibios who made him the Governor never fulfil, instead he become an enemy and subject of attack also cast away the treasure of the State, shudders with horror the terrible massacres and chain of murder to Ibibio. Patriots, wonders and mysterious deaths of perceived opponent, Mrs. Udonwa, Paul Inyang, Edidem Robert and host of others sent to the land of oblivion, many other citizens list their lives in a strange manner. A reasonable number were clamped down in prisons while lucky ones found themselves in self-exile.

He refused an open political competition which the State clamoured for, but in his relentless mad desire want to sit tight on power by installing his toy as a governor. He should be careful, if not, the decree of God for all will struck him and give way to a new chapter, as he came in through the back door, he will go out through the back door to enable the State engrossed in the rapture of success and victory and every possible measure will be taken to ensure that areas devastated by his led government will be restored and maximum attention given as one will expect in a State striving towards development and modernization. As such sound political, social and economic issues will resume their places in the fore front of problem demanding quick and decisive solution, the burning issues which had been shelved because of maladministration had to be tabled and actively prosecuted. Our resources will be secured, that will end exploitation, bondage and political situation of the State, one cannot avoid the risk of incurring displeasure from the existential point of view, it is obvious fact that our State has been in search of the ideal because of Akpabio’s regime, who came with fantastic promises, but firstly, was operating with open door policy only to deviate afterwards.

In the midst of these disappointments from the power that be, Chief Emeka Odumegwu Ojukwu says: each government has ascended the seat of power on the promises that it will produce the illusive unity and each government has crashed, because it has failed to produce the much sought after unity.

Akpabio doesn’t know that for unity to exist, the leader must foster it, there must be justice and equal distribution of State economy; bu where inequality, injustice and tribalism etc are the cases, unity is on perpetual exile. Akwa Ibom is only fortunate to have few saving graces during this critical years of his administration, to an extent his aides became laws unto themselves, they flagrantly go beyond the law inflicting, punishing and assaulting the law abiding citizens, an act of unparalleled high-handedness and power drunkenness of which the people watched with helpless horror. The former Governor, Victor Attah baptised the State by it present name, but Akpabio made our State to experience more birth with different political experimentation, funded extravagantly the town hall meeting with millions of the State wealth a thing that had not happened in that manner and shape in the history of the political world.

The pro-Akpabio campaigns came in different methods but united by one common objective, he sponsored things to justify succession fantasy.

Ibibio elders should never make the mistake of arguing with a person for whose opinions, they have no respect, he would have pick a problem of his own size and ignore or leave to others the bigger or smaller ones. Although one who is contented with what he has done will never be famous for what he will do, Akpabio being completely satisfied with himself is a sure sign that progress is about to end, he has trouble with the future because it arrives before he is ready for it, since he determine to multiply his commitment fail to divide his distractions, and subtract his excuses.

There is always a way, then there is a better way, Akpabio is a typical man who borrows trouble and he is in debt, the best way to escape evil is to pursue good, he is uncertain about the future and hazy about present. William Ward spoke wisely; there are three enemies of personal peace; regret over yesterdays mistakes, anxiety over tomorrows problems and ingratitude for today’s blessing. Remember when you are kicked from behind it means you are out in front, that is certainly what will happen to Akpabio.
