The people of Ibesikpo ward two has received with joy back to its fold the former Publicity Secretary of the Senator John James Akpanudoedehe campaign Organization, Chief T O Thomas in an enlarged ceremony that took place last Sunday at Nnung Ette in Ibesikpo Asutan Local Government Area.
The ward chairman Mr. Cyril described the PDP as a big family that is enlarging by the day. He hailed Obong T O Akpan for his foresight in returning to the party and described him as a man that will help in stabilizing the party. He called on the people of ward two to join hands with the leadership of the party to accord the returning member a pride of place in the party. He appealed to Akpan to join hands with the party to ensure that the current crises rocking Ibesikpo council is resolved.
The Ward Chairman Cyril Essien Udofia described the Ibesikpo Asutan council boss Mr. Ekpe James as a leader that has repositioned Ibesikpo Asutan Local Government Area in the comity of nations. He said it is a fact that Ekpe James has surpassed the achievements of his predecessors and called on all sons and daughters of the Local Government Area to join hands with the council boss towards the growth of the council and her people.
While speaking, the returnee Chief Akpan commended the state Governor Godswill Akpabio for keeping the party together at the state level despite the hurdles. He called on the people of the state to join hands with the Governor to ensure that the state moves forward as according to him, the level in which the Governor has taken the state to, is tremendous. He thanked the people for accepting him into the PDP fold which he once belonged to and promised to ensure that he remains a loyal party man.
The Ward Councillor, Ntiedo Raphael Edet appreciated Akpan for returning to the Party and pledged his continuous desire to serve.
