 Ata Obio Akpa Village Council gets new exco *pass vote of confidence on Gov.Udom Emmanuel

The Ata Obio Akpa Village Council on Tuesday inaugurated new executives to pilot their affairs for the next 4 years amidst prompt and pageantry. The event which took place at Ata Obio Akpa Council Hall had in attendance royal fathers, political class, clergymen, youth and women groups within and outside the state with the blessing of the Village Head of the area, Okuku Samuel Okon Essien. 

The village Head, Okuku Okon Essien in his speech called on the people of Ata Obio Akpa to unite and be obedience to constituted authorities adding that for any community or state to develop and attain its greatness, her people must be vibrant and productive. 

Eteidung Essien said present crop of village council executives led by Elder Awo Udo, the village would witnessing developmental projects and, urged the people of Ata Obio Akpa Community to join hands with new executives to lift the area to enviable height. Barrister Ifiok Ubom who administers the oath of office on the new executives charged them to see their position as a call to community service and as a stepping stone to higher responsibilities in future. 

The family Head of Nto Ndem Isong family Obong Awasiubong Ephraim Udoumo Commended the village head Okuku Samuel Okon Essien for the caliber of people elected into his cabinet which he described as men of reputable character that will bring to bear in the development of Ata Obio Akpa. The former councilor while advocating much support understanding and undiluted fellowship from the people of the state and Ata Obio Akpa community in particular for Governor Emmanuel, Obong Udoumo reputed as one of the most vocal, upright and visionary politician in Oruk Anam expressed Optimism that “There is a silver lining in the sky” for Akwa Ibom people. 

Also speaking the youth president of Ata Obio Akpa comrade Emmanuel Atai called on the youths in the community to unite and engage themselves in meaningful ventures to better their lives economically and assured the people of more dividend of democracy as long as their in-law, Deacon Udom Emmanuel remains on sit of power in the state. 

The newly sworn-in Village Chairman, Elder Comrade Awo M. Udo in his inaugural address, assured, his people that his administration will continue to chat a stronger renaissance and improvement of the village while reiterating the readiness of the new leadership to consolidated on the achievement of the past administration.

Tax Force; Bishop Monday S. Attai, Patron; Rev. Joseph U. Usoro, Patron; Mr. Friday U. Ekpo, Patron; Mr. Michael Simeon Umoh, Patron.
