Apostolic Church ends 3rd Convention …Ordains 6 Pastors

BY PAULINUS NTA

Apostle (Dr.) John Akai Buzu of The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja has urged Christians to build their lives, businesses and families on Jesus Christ whom he described as the sure foundation.

Speaking last Sunday at the 3rd major convention of The Apostolic Church (Central Field) at the field temple headquarters, Ndiya in Nsit Ubium Local Government on the sermon titled, “Build on the sure foundation”, the scholar identified present day suffering and hardship experienced in the country, as a direct consequence of faulty foundation.

“So many are suffering because the foundation is not strong, yet they are blaming God, whereas they know the foundation is weak.”  He drew believers’ attention to the ministry of Apostle Paul who quickly recognized the headship of Christ in the church and the foundation on which he (Paul) had built the church.

The Federal Capital Field which has won swatches of areas in Akwa Ibom territory ,administered from Ndiya in Nsit Ibom Local Government area, the central field command centre, will hold its annual Field Convention sometimes in December.

Highpoint of the convention was the ordination of six pastors.  They were: Pastor Pius B. Udoh, Victor Udoh, David Etuk, Eno Ekanem, Akaninyene Inyangudo and Joseph E. Bassey respectively.
