Ikot Abasi celebrates Uduak Odudoh’s victory at tribunal

The euphoria in Ikot Abasi State Constitu ency has reached alarming crescendo as the customary court at Kubua, Abuja, chaired by Hon. Justice   Adebayo Oyebanji dismissed a petition filed by All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate for Ikot Abasi State Constituency, Engr. Obot Essien on grounds that the case was filed out of time and that it robs the tribunal of the jurisdiction to entertain it.

Engr. Obot Essien had challenged the victory  of Hon. Uduak Odudoh in the just  concluded  election in  a suit  number EPT/AK/SH/22,  first, second and third defendant being: Rt. Hon.  Uduak Odudo, the Akwa Ibom State Peoples Democratic Party and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Fielding questions from newsmen after the dismissal, the lawmaker dedicated his victory to the mandate given him by his people.

He thanked his supporters for standing by him before during and after the election.

Odudoh promised to remain focused and attract dividends of democracy to the area through effective representation in the hallowed chambers.

He stretched his hands of fellowship to everybody irrespective of political affiliation even as he sued for continued cooperation from his State Constituency and the state at large.
