Birthday: Janet Ebong fetes less privileged

Wednesday, September 2, 2015,  Deaconess Janet Ufot Ebong, the humanitarian and compassionate wife of the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Udom Emmanuel on Technical Matters and Due Process, Elder Ufot Ebong, celebrated her birthday with inmates of the Special Children Center, IBB Way, Uyo.

Accompanied by members of her political group, the Ekid Women for Udom Emmanuel, family, friends and associates, she donated clothes, drinks, bags of rice, cartons of noodles, gallons of oil, toiletries, and all sort of food items to the inmates.
In their separate remarks, two of the beneficiaries, Edidiong and Faith, while wishing Deaconess Janet happy birthday, also prayed for her, saying “God will continually bless, protect, guard, provide and give her many more years.”

According to one of the women that accompanied Deaconess Janet to the Centre, “Everybody chose to Jani knows that she is a good woman. Today, we are celebrating her and we will continue to celebrate her.”

The chief celebrator, Deaconess Janet described the day as a fulfilled and the happiest day in her life.
