Member-elect thanks constituent
The House of Representatives member-elect for Oron Federal Constituency, Elder Nse Ekpenyong is still very appreciative of the support given to him in the last Saturday’s National Assembly election which brought about his emergence as the next law maker for the area.

The member-elect who is the immediate Past Deputy Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, made known his position today in his Easter message to the people of Oron Federal Constituency.

Elder Ekpenyong noted that the overwhelming support from the electorate during the election replicated their commitment to justice, fair play and equity.

Elder Ekpenyong, a former member of the State House of Assembly, acknowledged the efforts of the State Governor, Chief Godswill Akpabio, in giving direction to the party and thanked the State Chairman of the part, Obong Paul Ekpo and his lieutenants for providing the platform and standing by him during the campaingns.


The member-elect for Oron Federal Constituency particularly thanked God for giving him the courage to persevere and win the election and promised to do his best for the benefit of the Federal Constituency.

Elder Ekpenyong used the opportunity to solicit support from the people in respect of the April eleven Governorship and House of Assembly election to the PDP and explained that the Party remains the best option for the people.

He advised the people against acts contrary to electoral act stressing that no election is worth a drop of human blood.

Elder Nse Ekpenyong enjoined the people to reflect on the essence of Easter period and be willing to make sacrifices aimed at ensuring peace within Oron Federal Constituency, the State and Nation.
