The village of Use Ndon in Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area will on Saturday, 16th August 2014 play host to the staff and Students of the University of Uyo as the academias will storm the village for the traditional marriage between Mr. Iboro Efiong Edet, a lecturer of Anatomy Department of the university and Miss Edu Eyibio Akpan.
Information from the marriage planning committee has it that the traditional marriage will take place at Late Mr. Eyibio Udo Akpan’s compaound in Use Ndon, by 12 noon and therefore invite the general public to attend the ceremony.
Speaking with our reporter, the husband-to-be, Iboro Edet, who also hails from Obio Ibiono village in Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area expressed satisfaction for the choice of Miss Edu as his wife, saying they were both destined to lived with each other for eternity.
While expressing hope for a successful marriage ceremony come Saturday 16, the Anatomist pray for a fruitful and happy matrimonial home even as he promised to love and care for his hopeful wife for the rest of his life.
