Group reaffirms support for Bassey Albert

A renowned sociopolitical group in Akwa Ibom State known as The Integrity Group has reaffirmed its support for Obong Bassey Albert Akpan, a frontline guber aspirant in the state, with a pledge of a massive support and undeterred loyalty of its EXCO and members to the guber hopeful in his present and future aspirations.
In a message of solidarity signed by its chairman, Nse Joshua, the group stressed that Obong Bassey Albert has the required qualities and experience to paddle the state’s ship to a destination that will suit the desires of the people.

The message noted that the group’s resolve to field massive support for the Ibiono Ibom born guber hopeful was driven by the excellent records of the ex-finance commissioner throughout his seven years of service to the state.

“Obong Bassey Albert has unarguably proven his worth and capacity in governance through his contributions to the development of the state while he served as Finance Commissioner in the Akpabio administration for over seven years. During his days in office, he played his roles effectively with positive results as evedent in his quality service delivery”.

“We would not bother to go into details, but let it be known that the Integrity Group, and hopefully, the entire Akwa Ibom people had seen and noted his good works, both in his dedication and commitment to his primary duty, and his benevolence in touching the lives of the citizenry through granting lucrative opportunities and personally funded empowerment packages to indigenes of the state; hence, our long made resolution as a group that is concerned about the welfare of the state and its indigenes, to throw our weight behind his political aspirations both now and in the future; and a recently made resolution to reaffirm our support and total loyalty to him”, the message noted.

According to the message, the group also called on all well meaning indigenes of the state to join the agitation for good governance, by fielding support for Obong Albert whose wealth of experience and overtime proven capacity puts him fore as a trusted choice to take over the mandate at the expiration of the present administration.
