Nsit kingdom in Akwa Ibom State last Saturday honoured Hon David Etuk, a Special Assistant to the Governor on Projects with an Award of Excellence for his contributions towards the development of humanity.
Presenting the award to Akparawa (Hon) David Etuk, the Paramount Ruler of Nsit Ibom Local Government Area, His Eminence, Akwa Edidem (Dr) Manasseh S. Akpan said the award was given to the recipient based on his track records of service to mankind which has made him stand out amongst his contemporaries.
The Paramount Ruler who was also coronated the Monyo I, Akwa Uyio Nsit I, king of Nsit Kingdom said the newly inaugurated Nsit Kingdom found the awardees among whom was Hon David Etuk fit as a result of their enormous contributions to the development of their immediate community and the society at large.
Addressing his teeming supporters shortly after the award ceremony, Hon David Etuk thanked Nsit Kingdom for finding him worthy for the award and attributed it to God’s favour in his life.
Hon Etuk said the award would spur him to do more for his people and the state, and promised to make himself available to serve in whatever capacity the people will desire in the nearest future.

Effiong Abia, Commissioner for Rural Development in Akwa Ibom State, Prof. Peters, Vice Chancellor Akwa Ibom State University, Ntisong Engr. (Dr.) Essien U. Ekidem, Ntisong Ibibio III and Patriach Akwa Esop Ima Isong Ibibio
It would be recalled that the Lions Club about two weeks ago honoured the governor’s aide and also inducted him as member in Uyo.
