Wizkid says he’s letdown by J-Martins‘recent
comments, chastising the manner at which he addressed one of his fans.
Some
days ago, Wizkid had responded to a fan (@spruzman) on his Instagram page as
being ‘broke and therefore having no right to an opinion’ after the fan had
clowned him on a grammatical error.
Vanguard
on August 26, 2013 published part of a transcript of J-Martins’ conversation
with a Hot Fm 98.3 Abuja OAP allegedly reacting to
Wizkid’s outburst stating that Wizzy had ‘such a bad attitude’.
‘I
don’t believe because you feel you have a few change you didn’t have a few
years ago and which you cannot guarantee having in a few years to come then you
wake up and look at those people who have cheered you up, loved you, supported
your music, bought your CD’s, prayed for you, just because you can lay your
hands on some phone and you call them ‘poor’. I’m not in and will never be in
support of anyone who has such bad attitude‘, the alleged statement read.
Well
Wizkid hit back at the highlife singer 12 hours later on Twitter, telling J
Martins that he was very disappointed at him for passing judgment.
‘I
never called any of my fans broke…that comment was directed to one person that
insulted me…not a fan. You have been in this industry long enough to know
better than this and I’m very disappointed about your statement‘, Wizkid
tweeted at J Martins.
But
J Martins says the newspaper falsely reported his comments. ‘Let it be known
that I never blasted @wizkidayo as falsely reported. There is no point to
create a controversy that doesn’t exist‘, J Martins also tweeted.
