Startimes holds week 7 draws in Uyo as more winners emerge

Two more winners emerged this week in the ongoing 3rd Anniversary promo of StarTimes currently taking place in Uyo. The week draws were held at the company’s headquarters office along IBB Avenue, opposite the Ibom e-library in Uyo on Thursday 5th September, 2013 at 12:30pm.

Conducting the draws, the systems Engineer, StarTimes Uyo office, Mr. Collins Ibor took the participants through the modalities for one to qualify and win in the promo. He told participants at the event that to qualify one has to buy a decoder of either N4,900 or N5,900 while existing subscribers have to recharge theirs with at least N3,000 to also qualify. He however warned participants and other subscribers to always confirm with the office if they have a call that they have won a prize as fraudsters are on the prawl and may want to capitalize on the promo to swindle the innocent subscribers of their money and valuables. He also used the occasion to congratulate the winners so far and urged others to key in as one week is still left where they too can also be winners.
High point of the event was the presentation of prizes to winners of week 6 draws of the promo. The general manager StarTimes Uyo office, Mr. Matthew Ojemaye presented the first prize of an L.C.D. 24 inches StarTimes television to Mr. Samuel Jacob Udo. While three ladies who are working with the StarTimes Uyo office, Miss Imaobong Ekpe, the Human Relations Officer; Miss Nneka and Miss Christy Okolo presented the 2nd prize of a C.R.T. 21 inches StarTimes television to Mr. Patrick Morgan.

Meanwhile, on this week draws Mr. Emmanuel Okon Isaiah of Ntiedo Street in Uyo emerged the first prize winner of an L.C.D. 24 inches StarTimes television, while Mr. Christopher Udo of Okpo Street in Uyo emerged as the second prize winner of a C.R.T. 21 inches StarTimes television. These two won out of 503 smartcards that qualified for the week’s draws.

Expressing his joy after receiving his prize, Mr. Samuel Udo, the first prize winner said “I thank God so much for making me a winner in this promo. I bought my decoder last week Monday and three days later I was called that I have won a television set. I thank StarTimes for what they are doing they have made the lives of people meaningful and have added colour to people’s lives. I was always planning to buy a L.C.D. TV but today StarTimes have given it to me for free so I say kudos to them. I advice people to buy StarTimes and enjoy it because they have a lot of exciting channels that will entertain everyone in the family”.

Also, Mr. Patrick Morgan, the second prize winner of last week after receiving his prize said “I feel happy and great and I give all the glory to God for what He has done today. I bought my decoder on Wednesday last week and when I did I was not even aware that there is a promo going on and when I was called the following day that I have won a television set I asked the person are you sure? To which he said yes and today I have seen that it is real so I say thank you to StarTimes and I encourage other people to join StarTimes as there is something for everyone in any of their bouguets”.

Meanwhile, the general manager StarTimes Uyo office has called on everyone who has notjoined the StarTimes family to do so as they still stand a chance to win a million naira and the N100, 000 prizes before the promo ends next week.
