Nigeria oil Major, Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited has
congratulated the newly elected chairman of the State Council of the Nigeria
Union of Journalists (NUJ), Elder Patrick Albert and members of State Working
Committee (SWC).
In
a letter of congratulation signed by Mr. Akaninyene Esiere, Manager, Public and
Government Affairs QIT, Ibeno, Mobil assured Elder Patrick Albert and the state
council of continued mutual and beneficial relations at all times.
The
oil firm expressed hope that with the wealth of experience of Elder Patrick
Albert and members of his council in the journalism profession, the union in
the state will continue to uphold the tents of journalism profession.
Similarly,
the management and staff of Wema Bank Plc, Uyo Branch has also congratulated
Elder Patrick Albert on his well-deserved victory. In a letter signed by
Anietie Asuquo, Relation Team Lead and Felix Udofia, Business Development
Manager, the bank expressed readiness to support the Patrick Albert- led
executive to deliver on his promises and prayed God for wisdom to render exceptional
services to different Chapels under the state council.
In
the same vein, the management team of Niger Insurance Plc has prayed God to
make Elder Patrick Albert’s reign to be peaceful and impactful, describing the
victory as a product of Elder Patrick Albert hardwork, commitment dedication to
duty.
Meanwhile,
the NUJ choral group will meet tomorrow by 3pm at the NUJ Press Centre for its
rehearsal. The choir director, Mr. Idorenyin Umoh has requested members of the
union who are yet to join the group to avail themselves of the opportunity and
be part of the new choral group.
