Group end rally for Udom’s re-election

The support base of the PDP in Eket Urban Ward 3 swelled when more than a hundred members of Mobil Filling Station Volunteers Group for Udom 2019 rounded off her mobilization and sensitization rally for the electoral victory of Gov. Udom Emmanuel and other PDP candidates in the coming polls.

The group according to her National Co-ordinator Mr. Sunny Ekerete Wilson, averred, Udom has performed exceedingly above expected standards in view of the dwindling finances of the state, especially the financial ingenuity exhibited by him since assumption of office.

While some state governments are battling with backlog of salaries and pension, Gov. Udom has proven himself as a financial guru in the management of state funds to the delight of opponents.

He recalled the industrialization pledge had been redeemed with the establishment of numerous cottage industries across the state that has generated much jobs for our teeming youths. The co-ordinator fondly called “Eyen Udom,” emphasized the resolve of the group to undertake streets to streets mobilization and sensitization rally was to keep members and electorates abreast of the latest achievements of the Udom-led administration which has brought untold joy, peace and industrial harmony to the state.

In addition, the spate of infrastructural development, urban upgrade or renewal as well as the multi-million naira international market, sports stadium, human capital development programs and interest free microcredit facilities has adequately empowered the youths for economic relevance.

Wilson, noted, the campaign materials distributed by the group was produced from contributions of interested members, based on their conviction that Gov. Udom have recorded a superlative performance in just 3 and half years and therefore deserves a second term to enable him consolidate and complete the ongoing projects initiated by him in an avowed determination to take Akwa Ibom to the next level of industrialization.

In his address to the group clad in colourful branded T-shirts and caps, the Eket council boss, Hon. Frank Archibong applauded the youths for their decision to work all round the clock to ensure Gov. Udom is reelected to complete the 8years tenure of Eket Senatorial District.

Hon. Archibong who was represented by Hon. Kingsley Umem, Supervisor for Works and Transport reminded the group that all the mega projects undertaken by Udom regime in Eket risk being abandoned. The re-election of Udom is therefore the only guarantee to complete and commission the projects for use by the electorates. He therefore urged them to vote for Udom and all the PDP candidates to fast track industrialization of the state.

“Its equitable, just and fair that Eket senatorial district be allowed to complete its constitutional 8years tenure that was enjoyed by both Uyo and Ikot Ekpene Senatorial Districts with Obong Victor Attah and Chief Godswill Akpabio.” Archibong concluded.

Anything short of this will be a cheat to us in Eket Senatorial District and all patriotic minded individuals must resist this modern day colonization and marginalization. Therefore use your Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) to ensure Eket Senatorial District takes her full tenure with Gov. Udom Emmanuel. High point of the rally was the defection of about a hundred members of the APC to the PDP in the ward.
