Former TC Boss mobilizes Kinsmen for Ekere/Akpabio’s visit

As the Obong Nsima Ekere’s Campaign Train berth in Abak this Saturday, a former Transition Committee Chairman of the area, Dr. Emmanuel Udosen has mobilized the people of Midim Clan in particular and Abak in general to come out en masse to welcome the All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Candidate, Obong Nsima Ekere, and APC Candidate for Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District, Senator Godswill Akpabio to the area.

In a well-attended meeting which took place at his residence in Abak, Dr. Udosen extolled the qualities of the immediate past Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) Managing Director, describing him as a seasoned administrator, a renowned politician and a God-fearing personality who has the interest of the state at heart and would take the state to greater height if given the opportunity.

The former Transition Committee Chairman reminded the gathering how Obong Nsima Ekere-led NDDC came for the rescue of the collapsed portion of the Hospital Road which according to him was abandoned by the State Government even when the state number 2 citizen is an indigene of Abak.

He described Senator Godswill Akpabio as a hero who deserves to be celebrated by not only the people of Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District but the state in general. “Akwa Ibom State is what it is today because of His Excellency, Senator Godswill Akpabio.

We have many reasons to vote for him. All the roads constructed in Abak, Etim Ekpo, Essien Udim, Ikot Ekpene, fly-overs were done by him. You want to talk about the free and compulsory education, what about the International Airport and International Stadium. Have we forgotten his several empowerment so far as a Senator”, Barr. Udosen queried.

He appealed to the gathering to vote for all the APC Candidates during the forthcoming election. All those who spoke assured that APC will record 100 percent votes in their respective units and wards.
