Christian Campaigners of Nigeria endorse Udom for 2nd term
...condemns suspension of CJN

The Christian Campaigners of Nigeria (CCN) has endorsed the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel for second term of his governance.

They also condemned the suspension of Justice Walter Onnoghen, the Chief Justice of Nigeria and the presiding officer of the judicature.

In a communiqué issued and signed by Rev. Ayuba Samuel Kantiok of Christian Campaigners of Nigeria, Rev Bartholomew Agbochenu of Christian Leadership International Political Forum, Rev. Nse Akpan of Christian Spiritual Fathers’ Forum of Akwa Ibom and Rt. Rev. Dr. Manzo Abubakar, the Grand Patron, at the end of the amalgamated meeting of a conclave of Christian organizations held at the conference hall of prelate Mbang’s chapel recently in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital, they stated that: “Rising up from an extraordinary meeting of the conclave of Christian organization, to wit Christian Campaigners of Nigeria, in tandem with Akwa Ibom Spiritual Fathers’ Forum and Christian Readership International Political Forum, after brainstorming on critical national issues and the concomitant extensive, intensive and inclusive debate and consultations, also unanimously resolved to confer on his Excellency, Governor Emmanuel Udom as the foremost Governor of Peace award given his large heartedness and commodious governance philosophy in the finest intellectual and best governance traditions”.


They also commended Governor Emmanuel for ushering in the period of unprecedented political peace in the state.

They Forum also resolved commiserated with the Government and good people of Akwa Ibom State over the untimely “passage of our mother, Mama Barrister Enobong Sunday Mbang.”

The Christian conclave concluded that the epithet of Christian Governor bestowed on Mr. Udom Emmanuel is well earned and well deserved.
