Qua Iboe Church congratulates Udom ...says Gov-elect will take A’Ibom to greater heights

The Qua Iboe Church  Ewet Offot has  joined hundreds of thousands of Akwa Ibom people to congratulate the Governor-elect Mr. Udom Gabriel Emmanuel on his well deserved victory at the gubernatorial polls.

This is contained in a congratulatory letter dated 4th May 2015, addressed to the Governor -Elect and signed by the Chairman Church Committee Elder (Dr) Godwin E. Bassey, the General Secretary Deacon Inuaesiet Edemekong and the resident minister Rev. Idongesit U. Inwang.

The letter read in part, “on behalf of the presbytery, the Church committee and the entire members of the congregation of Qua Iboe church, Ewet Offot, we write to congratulate you on your success in the 2015 gubernatorial elections in Akwa Ibom state and your receipt of the certificate of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).”

The Church noted, “we are confident that the Almighty God who has chosen you will grant you the wisdom and strength to lead the state to greater height.”

Qua Iboe Church Ewet Offot identified Akwa Ibom as a state where peace, love, justice and prosperity abound”.  and wished the governor-elect Mr. Udom Emmanuel and wife Martha Udom Emmanuel “a peaceful and successful tenure”.

The church was of the opinion that the election of Mr. Udom Emmanuel to the exalted office of the executive Governor Akwa Ibom state is a fulfilment of the Divine Mandate to actualize God’s vision for the state.
