Group felicitates Udom, ors
A socio political  group in Ibiono  Ibom Local Government Area, Ibiono Ibom Western Forum has fecilitated with the Governor-Elect of Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Udom Emmanuel, the Senator-Elect for Uyo Senatorial District, Obong Bassey Albert Akpan, the Member-Elect for Itu/Ibiono Ibom Federal Constituency, Dr. Henry Archibong and Obong Barr. Ime Okon the Member-Elect for Ibiono Ibom State Constituency on their remarkable victory at the just concluded general elections.

The forum in a message jointly signed by their president, Elder Michael Ndem, the vice president, Otuekong Enobong Ekong and the secretary, Comrade Nde U. Nde noted that their victory though deserved did not come to them as a surprise having followed their successes and accomplishments in many fields of their endeavour, notably in the political terrain where they soar high above their contemporaries.

The group specifically commended the member-elect for Ibiono Ibom State Constituency, Obong Ime Okon whose achievement during his first tenure in the hallowed chambers can be compared with non since the inauguration of the assembly years ago, emphasizing that apart from being a legal icon and an integral assembly member whose contributions led to the success of the uncommon transformation in the state, his humility and loyalty to the echelon of the state administration should stand him out as the next speaker of the state Assembly.

They opined that Barr. Okon’s experience in the assembly was remarkable as he exhibited uncommon candour, undiluted courage and above all unrivalled doggedness in legislative contributions.

The forum saluted his vision, humility, love for his people and restated their commitment to associate continually with his leadership sagacity, unequalled patriotism and human credentials, attributes that undoubtedly endears him to the heart of all in the State Constituency.

As all of them savors the joy of their, the organization prayed God Almighty to Strength them so that they will continue to exhibit their God given philanthropic attributes for the betterment and development of not only Ibiono Ibom but the entire Akwa Ibom State in general.
