“And God said, ‘Let us make man in our own image, after our likeness”… Genesis 1:26
“So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him, male and female”… Genesis 1:27. And the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living soul”… Genesis 2:7
“And God blessed them and God said unto them, be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth and subdue it”… Genesis 1:28.
The Bible passages above represent the true account of creation and not the scientific fabrication propounded by Charles Darwin in his “Theory of Evolution” where he traces his ancestry (certainly not mine) to the, great apes. It is a fact that mankind regardless of race or gender is an image of God, created to reflect the God nature – a divine expectation the accursed arch angel Lucifer is sworn to frustrate.
It is also a fact that God intends humankind to multiply in great number and replenish the earth, not to be decimated by epidemics, wars, natural disasters or the deliberate actions and inactions of their fellow men. People who kill or injure innocent people by speaking against or not speaking up for them will answer to God as parties in the wickedness. Note that every sin is rebellion against God, the same offence which earned the devil expulsion from Haven and consignment to an eternal fiery fate. Note also that natural disasters in the majority are a direct consequence of man’s activities which alter or degrade the environment.
I am not a Pastor (not having gone through the requisite training for the prefix) but a born again Christian to whom God’s laws are sacred and sacrosanct.
Consider the prayer in Psalm 90:12; “So teach us to number our days that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom”. It doesn’t say number our years because to God, our entire lives are as a flash in the pan, a mere wink; even if we lived to be 100 years old. Methuselah lived 969 years (a mere 353,685 days). A person who lives 100 years (a grand old man in our day) mere lives 36,500 days and a 50 year old man, just 18,250 days. Now, what kind of person would compromise eternity by trilling with a less than 40,000 day lifespan? Only a fool, you will agree. Make no mistake about the fact that everybody will awaken into a never ending eternity either in paradise or in a fiery furnace which burns without respite, let-up or rest. A horrific experience of damnation without relief!
Jesus Christ describes hell as a place of wailing and gnashing of teeth, an unquenchable furnace which burns eternally and where the worms don’t die. See Mark 9:44, Matthew 13:42, 13:50, 18:8.
God the Father also describes it as a lake of fire and brimstone where the fire is unquenchable and the worms don’t die. See Revelations 20:10, 21:8, Isaiah 66:24.
Hell therefore connotes a place of un-imaginable and unspeakable agony and torture of the damned by the devil and demons which will equally be tormented for eternity.
