A salt without taste is useless - O O Obu BY UBONG INYANG

A salt without taste is useless - O O Obu BY UBONG INYANG
Apostle (Hon) Ekpe James
These were the divine words of his holiness Olumba Olumba Obu through Christ Witness Udoeyop at the four towns cathedral as the Brotherhood Of The Cross and Star commenced the ‘Salt Of The Earth’ event.

The event started Sunday across the entire world and the four towns and 25ekpenyong  Pentecostal centres played host for those in Uyo. At the four towns cathedral, the brethrens marched in their numbers to receive the divine mark of the salt across their foreheads before the commencement of the Sunday service as it was also done at the ekpenyong cathedral.

In his sermon, the father who took his first bible reading from Matthew 5 :13, admonished members to emulate the true nature of salt by being tasty and by implication be active and felt positively in what so ever position we occupy since Christ referred to us as the salt of the earth and the light of the world.

This was followed by the second bible reading from 2nd Corinthians 3:1-4 which he added that we should embed the teachings of Christ in our hearts that we might not be denied by our lord Jesus and also stressed that a salt which has no taste will be trampled upon by men and thus useless. “a salt without taste it useless and serves no purpose for anyone and will surely be trampled upon by men’’ the father added.

In attendance at the four towns cathedral was the council chairman of Ibesikpo Asutan Apostle (hon) Ekpe James who was actively involved in the event.

The salt of the earth event’s grand finale is due for April 14th through 20th of the same month at the world head quarters 34 ambo street calabar.
