La Masia FC will play host to the finest teams in and around the state as its football fiesta kicked off on Sunday.
The tournament is billed to last from the 26th of January to February 16th at the QIC primary school after the Itam flyover. Speaking with the host, Mr Moses , he informed that he is still expecting more teams to join in the event before the final group draws are made. “We have 13 teams at the moment and I am expecting more teams to participate before we make the final draws.’’ he said.
He admitted that he has registered three of his teams in the tournament and quenched the fears of favouritism being shown to his teams as the officials being used are of a high disciplinary standard. In the opening fixture, defending champions Murphy Fc will lock horns with Julius Berger Fc.
