The serene community of Awa Iman in Onna Local Government area was on Christmas day a beehive of activities as different cultural troupes treated the people to a carnival fiesta.
The community celebrated with their son and PDP Governorship candidate in the 2015 General Elections Mr Udom Emmanuel in a yearly end-of-year get together.
The event organised by the community was to promote the cultural ideals of the community and showcase the unity and love of the people of Awa.
Uta, Ntuk odio odio, Ice Kid, some comedians, a balladist, were among those who thrilled the gathering.
There was enough to dance and merry at the QIC Primary school at Awa Iman.
Addressing the gathering, the PDP governorship hopeful Mr Emmanuel charged the people to continue to exhibit love to one another in their dealings, in line with the message of Christmas.
He said meaningful development thrive easier in a peaceful atmosphere.
Mr Udom Emmanuel commended them for their continuous 12 support to Governor Godswill Akpabio, adding that with their support and cooperation, he will sustain the development in the State comes May 29, 2015.
