Transporter lauds Perm. Sec. on appointment

A veteran Transporter in the State and Park  Management Executive, Mbiabong Etoi Motor Park, Uyo, Chief Ita Ekpenyong has identified himself with the appointment of the present Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Transport, Uyo.

Speaking with Newsmen in his office, Chief Ekpenyong who is the former State Chairman, Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) thanked the Akwa Ibom State Governor,
Chief Godswill Akpabio for finding the Permanent Secretary fit for the appointment and expressed hope that his services will add more value to the administrative ingenuity of the Transport Commissioner, Prince Godwin Ntukude in repositioning the services of their transporters in Akwa Ibom State for optimum productivity.

While congratulating the Permanent Secretary on his official appointment, he however appealed to him to close ranks with the leaders of government approved parks in Akwa Ibom to transform the parks to an appreciable standard for improved services.

The Transporter on behalf of leaders of Mbiabong Park pledged their unflinching support, loyalty and cooperation to the Permanent Secretary and also drew his attention to the deplorable state of the roads in Mbiabong Park for government’s attention.
