Governor Emmanuel charges A’Ibom Federal appointees to be law abiding

Governor Udom Emmanuel has charged all Akwa Ibomites holding federal appointments to display good attributes in the discharge of their responsibilities. 

The Governor stated this when he played host to the new federal commissioner in the National Population Commission, Engr Ben Ukpong at the Governor’s lodge in Abuja. 

The Governor congratulated him and and urged him and other appointees from the state to be law abiding and faithful in service to their fatherland. 


Engr Ben Ukpong, who was a deputy governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC during the 2015 elections thanked the governor for the warm reception. 

He said he came to inform him of his appointment and to seek the governor’s support in his new assignment. 

Highlight of the visit was the presentation of his appointment letter to the Governor.
