Economic activities in the state is expected to be at its peak from June 24th to July 2nd as over 400 vehicles backed by the automobile support industry will be on display at the first Uyo International Motor show.
The event which is billed to take place at the prestigious Le Meridian Ibom Hotel and golf Resort, Uyo will open doors to over 40 brands of various automobiles making waves in the sub Saharan region.
According to the organisers, the 10 days events will keep car freaks and the motoring society spell bound as various brands will unveil new, hi-tech and advanced models from their marquee to the markets in a true motor spirit and display.
A release signed by South Field Technologies Nig. Ltd, the organisers of the event says the show will feature both passenger and commercial vehicles with emphasis on indigenous companies even as it strives to meet international acceptable standards even though it is only products that have manufacturer’s considerations for the sub region that shall be on display.
The release commends the state government for its foresight in upgrading infrastructures in the state over the time stressing that this was one of the major attraction s for the over 500 guests and visitors are expected to troop into the state capital for the 10 event.
Another feature of the show apart from the motor show will be the OSCARS of the Automobile Industry, Car of the year award as well as outstanding motoring journalist’s award.
