AKS Chief Iman task Christians at Easter, commend former CAN Chairman

The Muslim community in Akwa Ibom State, has fecilitate the Christians in the state at Easter and also task them to emulate Jesus Christ as the Saviour of the Christiandom world. Reflect no the sacrifice of Christ which is the essence of Easter celebration.

The chief iman of Akwa Ibom State, Alhaji Adamu Muhammed made the call at Uyo Central Mosque that, “it will be worthy for Christians in the state to remaineber the love and Peace which made christ to pay the supreme price of being sacrifice on the cross for christians to experience peace and Love in their various lives”
Alhaji Muhammed thus wishes all Christians peace at Easter and encourage all Nigerians of every faith to be resolute in the face of the current adversities, especially the economic downturn and urge all to know that hard times could always turn around for good if the people do not lose hope.
In this regard, the chief Iman call on all Nigerians to pray for peace and sustenance in all what we Nigerians are doing at all times.
On the successful completion of immediate past Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Akwa Ibom State Chapter, Arch Bishop Cletus Bassey, the Chief Iman said that, “for spending about six years In CAN, the Arch Bishop should be commended a job well done and should be appreciated by all for his efforts and his ability to help strengthen relationship within the secular Nigerian State”. On what the Arch Bishop was to him, Alhaji Adamu said that “sincerely Arch Bishop Cletus Bassey is a brother, Co-traveler in building understanding in our faith and for lasting peace for our country Nigerian”.
