The authority of the Qua Iboe Church Ekpene Ukpa in Etinan Supritendency has joined other organizations within and outside the state in rejoicing with Governor Udom Emmanuel on his resounding victory in the recent Supreme Court judgment in Abuja.
In a statement signed by the church Chairman, Elder Asuquo F. Inyang and the Secretary, Elder Ime T. Etuk, the church described the verdict as an act of God and a blessing to Akwaibomites.
According to the church, the said judgment has proved to the doubting Thomases that when God says yes, nobody can say no, adding that God was on the side of the governor and the people of the state.
It urged the governor not to be digressed in giving the people quality leadership which he has already started and pledged their unalloyed loyalty to the administration at all times.
The church commended the state Governor for the giant stride he has so far recorded evident by the ongoing construction of Etinan-Onna Road.
The authority of the Qua Iboe Church also used the medium to congratulate the state Chief Executive for appointing one of their daughters, Dr. (Mrs) Elizabeth Obot into the state executive council as well as the rehabilitation of the hitherto moribund Peacock Paint Industry.
