The Chairman, Abak Main Motor Park Committee, Mr. Anietie Simeon has said that members of the committee will work together with the Executive Chairman of Abak local government area, Hon. Barr. Imoh Williams to enable him succeed in the task of taking Abak local government area to the next level of development.
Mr. Simeon who spoke with our reporter yesterday at Abak, expressed gratitude to God for making it possible for him to be appointed as the Chairman of Abak Main Park and thanked the Executive Chairman, Barr. Imoh Williams for finding him fit to occupy the office.
The Park Chairman promised to emulate Barr Imoh Williams who he said has good plans and vision for Abak local government area. “The Executive Chairman, Hon. Barr. Imoh Williams has good plans for Abak.
So, I intend to emulate him by making the Main Park better than I met it. We have started by renovating the office to make it conducive for us to stay and work. We do hope that with the support of the council and the entire people of Abak, we will succeed”, Mr. Simeon stated.
The Abak Main Park Chairman informed of his plan to construct toilet facility and appealed for the support of the council and that of the entire people of Abak.
Mr. Simeon listed some of the challenges facing the park to include; lack of vehicles to convey passengers to cities like Owerri, Port Harcourt, Aba, Calabar, Onitsha, Yenegoa among others.
He expressed the hope that as an outstanding performer who has good plans for Abak, Barr. Imoh Williams will construct a waiting Hall for passengers in the park.
The Park Chairman pledged the support of the committee members to Mr. Udom Emmanuel’s second term bid.
