A major distributor of machinery and safety tools, Omnispec Resources Tools and Machinery has assured that it will continue to provide quality machinery and safety tools for the people of Akwa Ibom state.
This was disclosed by the Chief Executive Officer of Omnispec Resources, Mike Anwana, during a public seminar organized by the company recently in Uyo.
Mr. Anwana noted that the company, which has been the major supplier of L&G Tools, is venturing into safety in partnership with North Safety Products Africa.
While unveiling the plans of Omnispec Resources for the people of Akwa Ibom, he disclosed that the company is planning to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the state government.
“We had a very successful meeting and the committee is ready to partner with us. I have not seen a government so enthusiastic about investment. Part of things we are planning to do is when we are fully settled in the state is to train about 200 people”. he said.
Mr Anwana noted that the government at all levels need to implement policies that will promote investment, adding that Omnispec Resources which is a major distributor of L&G tools is partnering with another south African company, North Safety Products Africa, assuring that Omnispec is satisfied with the products of both companies because of their standard.
Also speaking, a representative of North Safety Products Africa, disclosed that the company was established in 1956, adding that their safety tools are primarily for mining, oil and gas, energy, manufacturing, construction and agriculture. He noted that over the years, the country has been operating in sub-sahara Africa, adding that with the right partnership in Nigeria, their products will survive in the Nigeria Market and that the country will add value to the country economy.
