Late Chief Fred Anaka for burial, Saturday
The remains of Late Chief Fred Anaka of  Ikot Ikan, Atai Otoro in Abak Local Government Area will be laid to rest on Saturday, 28th November, 2015. 

The interment will be preceded by the funeral service to be conducted by Blessed Covenant Church of Jesus Christ, Atai Otoro, Abak by 10am. 

A statement by the deceased eldest son, Rev. Udeme Fred Anaka indicates that the late Chief Fred Anaka while alive was a committed farmer and a professional Caterer who served in many institutions in including being the Chief Cook at Church of Jesus Christ Comprehensive Secondary School Atai Otoro. The statement described the late Chief Fred Anaka as a community leader, a devout Christian, a philanthropist and a caring farther who taught his children how to grow in the ways of the Lord.
The statement has therefore invited friends, well-wishers and the general public to attain the funeral ceremony.  

Aged 91, the late Chief Fred Anaka is survived by wife, children, grandchildren and a host of other relations to mourn his death. 

Meanwhile, the family has continued to receive condolence messages from top government functionaries, socio-cultural/political organizations, the political  class among stars. 

In his message, a youth activist in the state, Mr. Faith Henry Nkanata described the late Chief. Fred Anaka as an outstanding community leader and a caring father whose wise compelling would be greatly missed. Mr. Faith Anaka prayed God to give the entire members of the Family the fortitude to bear the loss. On their part, the Justice Club, Otoro in a message to one of the deceased sons, Mr. Utitofon Fred, urged him to be consoled by the fact that his late father lived a worthy and fulfilled life. Singed by Mr. Innocent Ezekiel, Justice Club prayed God to give Mr. Utitofon Fred and the entire family the grace to bear the loss.
