Late Elder Okon Abraham Udoh goes home, Saturday
The remains of Late Elder Okon Abraham Udoh of  Uruk Uso, Otoro, in Abak Local Government Area will be committed to mother earth on Saturday, 28th November, 2015. The interment will be preceded by the funeral service to be conducted by Saint John’s African Church, Uruk Uso, Otoro, Abak by 10am. 
 
Aged 82, the late Elder Okon Abraham Udoh while alive was a professional engineer who worked for many years with Lagos State Ministry of Works.
On retirement from the Lagos State Ministry of Works, the late Elder Okon Abraham worked as a building contractor with JOKU Building Contraction Company.
 
A statement by the deceased Eldest Son, Mr. Macchum Okon Abraham indicates that a – one day football tournament organized in honour of late Elder Okon Abraham will take place on Thursday, 26th November,  at Luthers Nursery School, Uruk Uso.
 
According to the statement, about eight football teams will compete at the one – day tournament.
 
The statement described the late Elder Okon Abraham as a devout Christian, a philanthropist and a caring father who taught his children how to grow in the way of the Lord.
 
The statement has therefore invited friends, well-wishers and the general public to attend the funeral ceremony.
 
The late Elder Okon Abraham Udoh is survived by six children and a host of other relations to mourn his death.
