The Association of Communication Arts Students in the University of Uyo conferred on Akparawa Michael BUSH the award as patron of the department recently.
The award was presented to him during the late professor Essienubong Ikpe scholarship fund launch held at the CBN auditorium. The award was conferred on him by the staff adviser of the communication arts dept in the person of Dr Uwem Akpan of the same department along with others.
The CEO of Bush House Nigeria and world win media who was ably represented by the gm UNIUYO fm Pastor Idy James thanked the department for recognizing him and also supported the scholarship foundation with the sum of 50 thousand Naira.
Also honoured as patrons were Mr Udoh Silas, the General Manager of Pioneer Newspaper and the State Chairman of the Nigerian Union of Journalists NUJ Elder Patrick Albert and Professor Des Wilson who was honoured as the Grandpatron.
Present at the occasion was the Abak road branch manager of UBA Mr Esit Ekom Ekop who also donated the sum of one hundred thousand naira in support of the scholarship foundation. The seminar presentation due was postponed to coincide with the ACAS dinner and award night due for Friday march 26th
