AK First Lady sues for love among Married Couples
Akwa Ibom State first lady Her Excellency Mrs. Ekaette Unoma Akpabio has urged couples to remain focus in marriage, love each other and above all turn to God when challenges beckons. She disclosed this recently during the solemnization of the holy matrimony between Honorable Efefiong Antigha, member representing Okobo in the state house of Assembly and Miss Lucy Obot at the Lutheran Church of Nigeria, Ekeya in Okobo Local Government Area.

Represented by the state Commissioner for women Affairs and social welfare at the event, Mrs. Akpabio who is firm believer in the concept of marriage gave a biblical analogy of how Jesus turned water to wine at a marriage ceremony in Galilee after they ran out of wine, urging the couples to always turn to God when their wine seems not to be flowing well. In her words ‘’ I want to urge you today  to remain focused together, love each other, husband love you your wife, wife obey and submit yourself to your husband as the holy scriptures have instructed. When you face challenges, turn to God in prayer and he will always be there for you.’’ Mrs. Akpabio thereafter presented a cash gift to the newly wedded couples.

Responding, Hon. Antigha thanked the wife of the Governor for her motherly love and kindness towards them saying that they will forever be grateful to God for her.

Also present at the marriage were members of the state house of assembly led by the Hon. speaker Elder Sam Ikon, Hon. Commissioners and special advisers and spouses, chairmen of local government, party stalwarts as well as family and friends of the couples
