AK 29th Anniversary: Industrialization advancement group salutes Udom Emmanuel

As the people of the state roll out drums  to celebrate the 29th Anniversary of the creation of Akwa Ibom State, a foremost socio-political organization in the state, the Industrialization Advancement Group (IAG) has described the event as worth celebrating based on the achievements recorded in the past few years.
 
In a goodwill message to the State Governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel, his wife, Martha, his Deputy, Mr. Moses Ekpo, the Speaker, Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Barr. Onofiok Luke, government and people of Akwa Ibom State, the National President of the organization, Comrade Emmanuel Samuel Essien expressed gratitude to God for keeping the state together as one indivisible entity for the past 29 years.
 
Comrade Essien noted that it is the will of God that Mr. Udom Emmanuel should be on the saddle of leadership as the state marks this auspicious occasion and saluted his visionary leadership and vigorous pursuit of the industrialization and wealth creation policy.
 

The National President lauded the achievements recorded by the Udom Emmanuel’s administration and expressed the hope that the industrialization policy when becoming operational, would create job opportunities to many unemployed indigenes of the state.
 
Comrade Essien who is the Supervisor for Agriculture and Education in Oruk Anam local government area also congratulated the Wife of the Governor, Mrs. Martha Udom Emmanuel on the first anniversary of her pet project, the Family Empowerment and Youth Reorientation Programme. (FEYReP).
 
He thanked the First lady for using the programme to touch the lives of many people positively especially  the widows and the less privileged ones in the society. While celebrating the anniversary, Comrade Essien called on the people of the state to remember to reflect not only on the imperatives of love, peace and goodwill towards all men, but should also re-examine our faithfulness and commitment to the virtues and ideals of our founding fathers.
 
The National President noted that it is also pertinent to use this anniversary to desist from negative tendencies that may tear us apart, but should always pray for wisdom and a spirit of discernment while focusing on how to exemplify values that can distinguish the people of Akwa Ibom as role model in the society.
 
Comrade Essien used the occasion to commend Members of the State Executive Council, the BOT Chairman and Transition Committee Chairman for Oruk Anam, Prince Ubong Idiong and the SA on Inter-Ministerial, Mr. Sampson Idiong for their support to the State Governor and for using their position to touch the lives of many people positively.
 
He prayed for God’s blessing upon them and the entire people of the state.
