The rejoiced nature of exco members following Obong Umana’s sack have been on the high. Exco members especially commissioners are excited that their “bully” is gone. Now, one can work without fear of any unnecessary sack or summon, a commissioner confided in THE INK. The home ward of Umana was excited. ALGON who were to fall next in line on Umana’s slap said they are happy the governor had taken such steps. Information monitored from the information unit of the body indicates an air of excitement. Sources say Umana had wanted the council chairmen to declare their supports and that of the delegates for him. This is said to have created sparks in the ranks and file of ALGON. Now with Umana no more, ALGON claims they are quite safe waiting for AKpabio’s direction.
A post UOU era
Some people who had earlier promised to back out of the exco have reassessed their plans. An era where UOU is planning his 2015 ambition from his room is what some folks had sought for and now, one expects to see how the era would look like.
