Gov Akpabio receives kudos on Ukpom Abak bridge

Governor Godswill Akpabio has been applauded for the massive construction work in the State, especially for the construction of the Ukpom Abak bridge.
The Governor received the kudos during the just concluded Annual Lectureship of the Nigerian Christian Bible College, NCBC, Ukpom Abak, held at the School’s compound, recently.

The Registrar of the Nigerian Christian Bible College, Ukpom Abak, Brother Goodnews E. Peter, who lauded Governor Godswill Akpabio on the Ukpom Abak bridge construction, reiterated that, the act   is a clear demonstration that, Governor Akpabio-led administration is working.

The Registrar emphasized that, with the construction of the Ukpom Abak bridge, the Bible college is now made easily accessible, disclosing that, the Institution had been cut-off from the Public for many years back, due to the deplorable condition of the Ukpom Abak bridge at the time.

Brother Peter therefore expressed the deep appreciation of the School’s authority to Governor Godswill Akpabio for redeeming the plight of the Bible College through the bridge construction and for the general facelift given to roads in Abak local government area and other parts of the State.

He concluded that, the massive infrastructural renaissance in the State has proved that, some Politicians, like Chief (Dr.) Godswill Akpabio, are great performers, who keep to their electioneering promises, adding that this has erased the erroneous believe that politicians do not deliver as promised.

Responding, the Commissioner for Information and Communications, Mr. Aniekan Umanah, expressed with delight that, the good work of Governor Godswill Akpabio-led administration has not gone unnoticed reiterating that, the Governor is committed to the development of every section and sector of the State.

Mr. Aniekan Umanah lauded the theme of the annual Lectureship, “The Church and the Challenges of today”, and urged the Church to continue to partner the Government in her efforts to stand up to the challenges of our present day society.  He congratulated the Bible College for staying afloat despite all constraints for the past 56 years since its establishment and pledged Government’s Support to give the college a face-lift.
