Nsit Atai Supervisor Extols Lawmaker on quality projects

The remarkable achievements of the member representing Nsit Atai State Constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Hon. (Mrs.) Sarah Sunday Elijah have attracted messages of commendation from the good people of Nsit Atai Local Government Area.

The latest is from the Honourable Supervisor, Rural Development Matters, Nsit Atai LGA, Hon (Prince) Edemikoh Edemikoh Dan.

Speaking with newsmen during the commissioning of some projects done by the lawmaker, Prince Edemikoh commended her effort in attracting quality projects to the area, describing her as a leader with an exemplary character; a trusted leader who is known to live her life with honesty and integrity and servant leader who walk her talk and always be committed to excellence.


According to Prince Edemikoh, Hon. Elijah since assumption of office has recorded several achievements especially in terms of human development which according to him have improved the living condition of the people of the area.

At the projects sites including civic centre, Odot; Primary School Blocks at Ubetim, Okoro Nsit among others; and Primary Health Centre, Ikot Ebita, Hon Edemikoh maintained that the lawmaker has redefined leadership by her ingenuity in terms of performance, prudence management of resources and her high vision which according to him has transformed Nsit Atai LGA.

While counting on other projects done by the lawmaker including Water Projects at Divisional Police Headquarters, Idiaba and at the Apostolic Church, Odot. The construction of Civil Centre with Borehole at Odot; Construction of Health Centre with borehole at Ikot Ebita; Construction of Four Classsroom Block with office and VIP toilets facilities at Okoro Nsit; Procurement of 8 vehicles to supporters; provision of computer sets and printers to 20 indigenes she sent on computer training under her Skill Acquisition Training programme; provision of hair dressing equipment to 20 of her hair dressing trainees, trained under she Skill Acquisition Training Programme; and Training of 20 indigenes of Nsit Atai in Welding and Fabrication; provision of Financial Empowerment Schemes to more than 100 youths and women of the constituency; welfare packages to widows, youths, elders and the Traditional Rulers among other live touching projects, the supervisor said that Mrs. Elijah, through these projects has wiped off tears and shame in the eyes of her constituents and therefore encouraged her to continue in her good work not minding her detractors, while praying God to continue to guide and protect her and her family.

The supervisor equally used the opportunity to thank the state Governor, Chief Godswill Akpabio on his Uncommon Transformation strides in the state and therefore called on the people to support him in order to achieve meaningfully for the people of the state.
