It is on these premise and many more, that Space Media Group in partnership with E101 Xtra Magazine, will be gathering thousands of youths at Play Ground, Uyo on May 29, 2014 to celebrate the seventh anniversary of the Chief Godswill Akpabio’s administration.
To make the event grand, there will be the cutting of a 7 feet democracy cake to underscore seven years of uncommon transformation as well as having performances and razzmatazz from top Nigerian artistes/entertainers around the world. We also intend to give away prizes and souvenirs to guest and attendees to make the event memorable. It is our desire that thousands of youths will be inspired at the event so as to prepare the next crop of Nigerian leaders using Governor Akpabio as a model.
Got talent? Terry G is looking for Naija’s Street Champ
Popular Nigerian singer/producer Terry G, and two other Nigerian super-producers D’Tunes and ID Cabasa, have partnered with producers of a new Talent Hunt Show called Naija Street Champ.
It was gathered that the show is aimed at discovering new street music solo talents. An initiative of Unmissable incentives limited, the talent hunt is an open-mic competition that allows young people freestyle to a beat as auditions tour Lagos’ major neighbourhood.
‘We all came from the street to stardom, that is why I’m working with this talent hunt show to help young and upcoming talent from the streets too,’ Terry G said.
Contestants are expected to compose a song to a beat produced by any of the three producers, and present it at the auditions. Auditions will hold across Lagos between Saturday, May 10, 2014 and Sunday, June 1, 2014.
Discovered talents will get to work with the renowned music producers, D-Tunes, Terry G and I.D Cabasa, and the winner of the Naija Street Champ challenge will go home with One Million Naira (N1,000,000.00) prize money and a 3-year record deal.
