THE INK Newspaper wins legendary award

In recognition of her  outstanding contributions to the growth of journalism and the shaping of the society, THE INK Newspaper over the weekend won for herself a legendary award. The award was presented to the newspaper outfit by The Brave Academy in collaboration with the Akwa Ibom state ministry of Culture and Tourism during the occasion of the Mr. and Miss Akwa Ibom teen pageantry competition.

The award was presented to the newspaper by Mrs. Mary Ewa the permanent Secretary of the ministry who was represented by a Director in the ministry, Mrs. Regina. The Permanent secretary hailed THE INK Newspapers as one of the fast rising newspapers in the country despite being birth about seven months ago. She urged the newspaper outfit to continue with their unbiased reportage.

The manager Mr. and Miss Akwa Ibom Teen BV. Jimmy Martin in his position described THE INK Newspaper as a delight any time anyday. He appreciated the news medium for their contributions to the society and urged them not to relent even in the face of daunting challenges. He called on the newspaper outfit to do all it can to ensure that it remains as reliable as it is.

Responding onbehalf of THE INK, Priscilla Christopher who received the award on behalf of the news outfit appreciated the organization for organizing the event. She described the Mr. and Miss Akwa Ibom teen group as a young vibrant group that is coming into the state to ensure that the youths of the state are encouraged into the tourism sector. She pledged the commitment of THE INK Newspaper to partner with Mr. and Miss Akwa Ibom teen to ensure that the group is well known.

 She promised that the newspaper outfit will continue to promote the ideals of journalism and will ensure that its contents are as usual unbiased. She however dedicated the award to God, lovers and defenders of truth and freedom as well as its teeming readers.
