The State Secretary of Akwa Ibom All Stake holders Support Forum AKASSUF, a socio political organization in the state, Mr. Akpandem Usen Essien has described the Special Adviser Bureau of Political and Legislative Affairs in the state Otuekong Emmanuel Ibiok as a true transformation agent and the needed tonic in the transformation drive of the state governor, Chief Godswill Akpabio.
He said that within few months in office the Special Adviser has proved himself as one being competent and capable of translating the governor’s vision for the state politically into realities, and lays a solid foundation that will stand the test of time for the political future of the state.
Mr. Essien also described the just concluded seminar organized last week by the Bureau of Political and Legislative Affairs for all political groups, organizations and other interest base groups in the state as a right step in the right direction that will go a long way in giving political orientations and create awareness for groups and organizations in the state especially as the 2015 election draws near in the state.
He commended the governor’s aid for keying into the vision of uncommon transformation of the governor and declared the resolve of AKASSUF to remain loyal to the governor and support his visions and programmes as he works towards producing his successor come 2015 to Akwa Ibom People which is the aim of AKASSUF, and work with Otuekong Emmanuel Ibiok to deliver on the governor’s mandate.
The Nsit Ubium born politician thanked the governor for appointing one of their own, Otuekong Emmanuel Ibiok as the Special Adviser in the political and legislative bureau which he said is well deserved considering the quality and indepth political knowledge of Otuekong Ibiok in mobilizing, manage and control all political groups in the state to ensure a free, fair and credible election which all groups will be involved.
He further said that the workshop will equip the participants with the adequate knowledge they need to remain the support base of the state government and key into the new direction the governor is leading the state to produce result which he described a continuity of uncommon transformation come 2015. And wish the special adviser well as he leads the bureau to a greater height.
