Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio inducts Idong Ituen

The member representing Itu State  Constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Hon. Idongesit Ituen was last Saturday inducted into Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio as a member.

The induction ceremony which took place at the Mboho Unity hall, Udo Udoma Avenue, Uyo, was the yearly event to officially induct members into the family of the prestigious Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio, which is the apex Ibibio socio-cultural organization in Akwa Ibom State.

Speaking with THE INK shortly after the induction, Mkparawa Idongesit Ituen expressed happiness to the leadership of the socio-cultural organization for finding him worthy to be inducted as a member.
The lawmaker said that his induction as member of the Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio did not come to him as a surprise due to the fact that he is an Ibibio son and above all, he has contributed to the development of the Ibibio land in various ways.

Mkparawa Idongesit Ituen, who thanked the organization, promised that he will continue to remain a good ambassador of Ibibio land and that he will try as much as he can to preach the gospel of unity amongst the Ibibios which is the watchword of the organization.

In his words, “I’m happy that I am inducted into this prestigious Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio today. This is a way to make me feel that I am an Ibibio son and that my land has recognized me. I promise that I will double my efforts in preaching unity in Ibibio land.” Mkparawa Idongesit Ituen used the opportunity to call on all the Ibibio sons and daughters to join hands to support the State Governor, Deacon Udom Emmanuel to succeed in his administration.

With the induction of Mkparawa Idongesit Ituen into the socio-cultural organization, it appears that the Itu lawmaker is the youngest person to be inducted into the apex Ibibio body.
