The Vice Chairman of Uyo Local Government Council, Ukai Udeme Emmanuel and Mrs. Eseme Essien has dedicated the Dakkada Entrepreneurs Ambassadors League award presented to them to God.

Fielding question from Journalist during the DEAL Thanksgiving Award Ceremony on Sunday at Duolaz Event Center in Uyo, the Council Vice Chairman thanked the organizers of the event for honor done him.

He expressed satisfaction with the award, describing the award as an honor from a sincere assessment, in that he has not paid a dime for the award before selection as the award is just a thank you message of encouragement for him to do more.

Similarly, the Chief Executive Officer of Flaire Decor Rentals Services, Mrs. Ime Eseme Essien who received an outstanding Entrepreneur Award thanked the organizers of the event for acknowledging her little contributions during the electioneering campaign of Governor Udom Emmanuel’s re-election.

Asked if the award will encourage her to do more to the society through her establishment, She said: “In my establishment, I have put in place plans to assist the society, most especially the Younger generation, that is why probably you would have heard that we are helping the young ones, the indigenous students in the University as they come up they learn from us, we are training them as we are doing the business, we have a lot of upcoming undergraduates and graduates that work with us”.

On his part, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Udom Emmanuel on Marketing and Brand management and Chairman Dakkada Entrepreneurs Ambassadors League,  Mr. Sam Edoho said the DEAL Thanksgiving Award Ceremony was organised to appreciate God for assisting them to succeed in life endeavors and the re-election of governor Udom Emmanuel.

According to him, “ If God has help you to succeed in a project,  you must tell God thank you, so that is what we did, we also recognized Akwa Ibom people who have distinguished themselves”.

Speaking further, he used the opportunity to thanked all Akwa Ibomites who worked for Governor Udom Emmanuel’s re-election.

Mr. Edoho apologies to those who had worked tirelessly for Gov Emmanuel’s Victory but were not awarded to exercise patience as the award comes in batches because of space.

His words: “ Like I said earlier this is by no means exhaustive, everybody worked for the re-election of Governor Udom Emmanuel, the fact that we are selecting few to show recognition does not mean that everybody did not work.

“This is the first edition, definitely there would be opportunity for us to do more and God helping us we will do more for the people of Akwa Ibom State and for Akwa Ibom State”, he said.
