Inspite of her accumulated material blessings and Status in the public Service, the Deputy Speaker and Member representing Okobo State Constituency in Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly,Rt. Hon. Princess Felicia Bassey has attributed her greatest achievement in life to Salvation she derived from God some years ago .
Speaking in a visibly elated tone during the 7th Anniversary of Shepherd Porch international,Uyo and birthday Ceremony of Presiding Pastor of the Church, Senior Pastor Tunde Oyeyipo, disclosed amidst tears of Joy how Pastor Oyeyipo led her fully to Christ, explaining that the wonderful experience has completely changed her belief in the Police might where she served in strategic departments before joining politics.
“ My Pastor, I’m always impressed to have you around us because you inspire me always with spirit- filled and soul lifting messages. Since you discovered me and led me to the path of Christ,I have experienced unmerited favour and blessings. Above all, the greatest achievement is the Salvation I have secured in Christ Jesus. Those who came with me to this church can boldly testify that I have remained resolute and steadfast in always leading them to Christ the Saviour. Am always fulfilled to drink from God’s fountain of grace.
May God continue to bless and keep you for greater Service to humanity”, Felicia Bassey posited.
The deputy Speaker urged those who are boast in their horses and chariots to have a rethink, assuring that it is only in Christ Jesus that one can experience peace unspeakable.
Earlier in his exhortation, Senior Pastor Tunde Oyeyipo beseeched christians not to spend time where they are not loved, valued and celebrated.
Extracting his message from Proverbs 10:28, Numbers 13:33, Proverbs 23:18, Pastor Tunde charged those in privileged positions to touch lives and appreciate God who changed their stories and positioned for greatness.
