Elected NASS Members say Gov. Emmanuel’s victory, lesson to all

Elected members of the national assembly from Akwa Ibom State say the sweeping victory of Governor Udom Emmanuel and the entire PDP candidates in the state sends a strong message that everyone needs to remain humble and grateful to God as the redeemer and father of all.

In a goodwill message jointly signed, the 13 members-elect congratulated the Governor and his wife Martha, on his re-election for a second term in office.

“We are convinced that ONLY GOD could have guaranteed such landslide win. 

We are grateful that your enduring legacies of sustainable development have not only raised Akwa Ibom to national reckoning, but also become for us the building block that won the people’s confidence.”

The incoming national assemblymen acknowledged the “speed the state has gained through your superlative performance in industrialization, infrastructural development, wealth creation, youth and women empowerment,peace, security and prosperity.”

While pledging their support and loyalty to Governor Emmanuel’s completion agenda, the re-terated their resolve to use their engagements in the national assembly to partner the Governor’s efforts at developing the state.
