Gov. Emmanuel joins Onna State constituency member, Nse Essien in a family thanksgiving

Akwa Ibom State Governor Mr Udom Emmanuel alongside his Executive Council Members, Members of the State House of Assembly, Political Class and People of Onna Local Government Area, shared in the thanksgiving service of the  Chief Whip and Member representing Onna State Constituency in the House of Assembly, Deacon Nse Essien 

Addressing the congregation during the service held at House of Gold Ministries Int’l Uyo, Governor Emmanuel lauded the lawmaker for giving God a prime place of honour as the source of his blessings.

He particularly commended the Lawmakers for the unity in the sixth Assembly and sued for more of such support to facilitate the return of the other four members at the re-run polls.
He expressed appreciation to the leadership of the church, for providing a veritable ground for  salvation of souls and particularly expressed gratitude to Apostle Nya Ebito, a Governorship aspirant in last year’s gubernatorial nomination for not joining the G 22 to testify at the Tribunal and said his calling as a shepherd would have been compromised on the Altar of Politics.
The Governor assured the Minister that God rewards those who diligently serve him and pledged a donation for the Church building project.


The celebrator Deacon Nse Essien who expressed appreciation to God for his benevolence, attributed his success to the leadership of Apostle Nya Ebito, whom he described as his spiritual father.

He said God has lifted him by blessing him with a family, a beautiful wife and kids. These he said is worthy of thanksgiving .

The Speaker Barrister  Onofiok Luke, congratulated the Onna State Constituency Member for his quick rise to greatness adding that he has his contributed tremendously to the welfare of members as a representative of the Governor’s Constituency and pledged the support of the members of the Assembly to the building project.

In an homily, Apostle Nya Ebito said gratitude unlocks the heart of God to do more and that grateful people are astonishing and refreshed. The Man of God called on Parents to teach their children to be thankful to God noting that the world is full of ingrates.

The service featured songs and the lawmakers who came out in their numbers danced and shared in the joy of the moment with their colleague, Honourable Nse Essien.
