* Congratulates Udom
The Paramount Ruler of Etinan Local Government Area, HRM Edidem Imeh Dickson Umoette, JP, OON, has called on the people of Etinan State constituency to support the PDP candidate Barr Aniefiok Dennis as according to him the seasoned legal luminary is the one and only best option for the state constituency.
The position of the Royal Monarch is contained in a congratulatory message to Governor Udom Emmanuel on his victory at the apex court a fortnight ago and made available to newsmen in Etinan over the weekend. He described Barr Dennis as the best man to represent Etinan State constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly and also promised to work towards the victory of Barr Aniefiok Dennis next month during the state constituency re-run.
The traditional father however further assured the Governor of his readiness to reciprocate the PDP’s good gestures to Etinan people by ensuring that he mobilizes his people to support the candidature of Barr Dennis during the March re-run election.
The release addressed to the Governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel describes the Governor’s Supreme Court victory as a call to serve the people diligently towards delivering more dividends of Democracy to the people.
The Royal father said of the Governor, “the impacts you have so far created in Iman Ibom Land in view of the number of our children you have so far appointed to serve in your administration, the reactivation of Peacock Paints Industry, construction and dualization of Ekom-Iman-Awa-Iman road up to the East West Road, construction and dualization of Eket-Etinan road amonsgst others is a pointer to the fact that you are indeed on a divine mandate.”
The Etinan traditional ruler who also doubles as the leader of Uyio Ikpaisong Ibibio maintained to Gov. Emmanuel, “your Excellency my son, may I assure you onbehalf of the good people of Iman Ibom that we shall reciprocate your kind gestures to us by ensuring that we support the Peoples Democratic Party’s, PDP candidate Barr Aniefiok Dennis during the forthcoming House of Assembly re-run election for Etinan State constituency”.
Edidem Umoette also promised to mobilize the support of his kinsmen towards assisting the Governor Mr. Udom Emmanuel to sustain Superior performance of his predecessor.
